Jeremy Wisler

 

 

 

Jeremy Wisler is a drummer and percussionist based in New York City. With over 18 years of musical experience, he credits a variety of music mentors and professors including Nate Morton, Andrew Spencer, Dave Hall, John E. Williamson, Jose Maurtua, Robbie Smith, Keith Hall, Jim Hohmeyer, and Steve DeRees as instrumental in his development.

Jeremy has been fortunate to perform throughout the U.S. alongside many great artists including Adam Heller, Adam Kantor, Andrew Barth Feldman, Lexi Lawson, Robb Sapp, Alan H. Green, Sis, John Jeffrey Martin, Matthew Edward Kemp, Morgan Kirner, Keirsten Hodgens, Shereen Pimentel, Brandon Michael Nase, Tiffany Frances, and Korie Lee Blossey.

He recently held the drum chair for the 25th Anniversary Tour of Chicago the Musical.

In 2022, Jeremy held the drum chair on the national tour of Summer: The Donna Summer Musical. In 2019, he toured internationally for two years as an Orchestra Drummer for Celebrity Cruises working with artists that ranging in genres from Broadway, West End, and opera singers, to award winning vocalists from television shows including The Voice, The X Factor, and American Idol.

Originating from Midland, Michigan, Jeremy has performed on several occasions at the Midland Center for the Arts. He has actively played for the MCFTA’s musicals, cabarets, holiday shows, and accompanied choral concerts.

Jeremy has studied Music Performance at Central Michigan University. While at CMU, he was an active member of a number of ensembles including Jazz Lab 1, Symphonic Wind Ensemble, Symphony Orchestra, Marching Band, Wind Symphony, and Percussion Ensemble.  Before attending CMU, he completed high school at H. H. Dow High School and participated in many music groups through his school such as Jazz Band, Symphonic Band, Symphony Orchestra, Marching Band, and Musical Pit in Thespian Society Troupe 679. Jeremy has been involved in many local ensembles and groups as well. He has been a member of the East Shore Wind Symphony, Chemical City Band, Midland Concert Band, and the Midland Community Orchestra. Jeremy is also a past long-time member of the Resonators Percussion Ensemble and Resonators Competitive Drumline.
